  • Judy L Torchia, DVM

    Dr. Judy Torchia grew up in a farming community in Wisconsin and knew at a very young age that she wanted to be a veterinarian. As a child, her next door neighbor was a veterinarian and she began working in a veterinary practice at age 11. Dr. Torchia graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 1986. In addition to owning a veterinary practice in Florida for 7 years, she has also taught as a guest professor at the University of Florida. Since relocating to Nashville, she currently resides in the Brentwood area. Dr. Torchia has a beautiful little girl, Clare, and an energetic Golden Retriever, Forrest.
  • Heidi Ollis, DVM

    Dr. Heidi Ollis completed her undergraduate education at the University of Tennessee earning a B.S. in Animal Science in 2001.  She wanted to be a veterinarian at a very young age. She attended the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine where she was awarded her Doctorate in May 2006.  Since then she has enjoyed working in general practice treating dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, birds, and other small mammals.  She has also  enjoyed teaching as a guest lecturer at Columbia State University in their Veterinary Technician program.  Prior to her veterinary career, she participated many animal related activities, such as volunteering at the Knoxville Humane Society and even helping as an avian trainer at the Knoxville Zoo. While her blood will always run orange, Dr. Ollis has enjoyed returning home to middle Tennessee with her family. She has a husband and two children, and likes to spend her spare time traveling, sewing, reading and playing with her pets.  She currently has two cats (Gunny and Periwinkle) and numerous fish.
  • Tiffany - Practice Manager

    Tiffany has been working in the veterinary field since 1998. She has a BS in Animal Science from MTSU and two children Simone and Piper. When Tiffany is not at home on her farm she enjoys going to horse shows and beauty pageants with her girls. Her favorite part of the job is teaching people how to care for their pets. She has 2 dogs, 2 cats, 3 horses, and several ducks and chickens.
  • Rebecca - Assistant Practice Manager

    Rebecca is our jack-of-all-trades assistant practice manager, you may find her at the front desk or she may be the assistant that sees to your pet in the exam room. She has a Bachelors degree in Wildlife and Fishery Science with a concentration on Conservation from Tennessee Technological University. She had experience working in two other veterinary clinics before she joined the Nippers Corner staff. However, she still hopes she will find a job as a large mammal zoo keeper someday. Currently she shares her home with her 4 cats, LC, Squirt, Henry, and Bob.

  • David - Veterinarian Assistant

    David has 19 years of animal experience. He has worked with animals of all shapes and sizes from being a kennel assistant all the way up to a surgical assistant. David loves seeing the joy in people’s eyes when they talk about their four-legged friends.
  • Danielle - Groomer

    Danielle has had a love for animals her entire life. She has been grooming since 2009 and has made it her passion to provide excellent care, customer service, and quality grooming. She keeps busy at home with her husband and 4 children and their dog, Phoenix.
  • Nikki - Veterinarian Assistant

    Nikki has worked in the veterinary field for several years.  She has three dogs Star Baby "Chihuahua, Spot Man"Rat Terrier", Mocha "Healer Pit Mix".  She also is a new mother to a son named Jayden.  In her spare time she enjoys being with her babies and says, "It's the best feeling in the world when shes with them."

  • Vanessa - Reception

    Vanessa has worked in the veterinary field since 1997. She has two dogs Lopala and Sugar.  In her spare time she enjoys fishing, billards, and watching movies with her dogs. 

  • Christina - Veterinarian Assistant

    Christina has worked in the veterinary field since 1999. She loves to be outdoors, especially out on the lake and enjoys jet and water skiing. She currently resides in Madison, TN with her husband and daughter and their 3 cats and 3 dogs. They also own a small farm in Pulaski with several cattle and horses. 
  • April - Kennel Attendant

    April was born in Taranaki, New Zealand and immigrated to California at the age of 14. She has been professionally involved with animal care and maintenance since the summer of 2012, when she helped as a docent at the California Living Museum. She worked in several other animal related fields before joining our team.  April hopes to be able to go to school to become a veterinary technician sometime in the near future. She has owned many pets varying from a tarantula all the way up to a New Zealand wild boar in the past. April currently lives in Nashville with her husband and their two pets: a cat (Nermil) and puppy (Bruno).
