Dr. Sarah Hilario - Veterinarian

${name}

Dr. Sarah Hilario graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008.

After graduation, she moved to Florida to embark on her veterinary career. For 15 years she worked in a large, general practice before eventually settling in Nashville. Animals were a huge part of her life growing up. Her affection for these furry companions culminated on her seventh birthday when she convinced her family to welcome a shelter cat into their lives. This fateful decision ignited a lifelong passion for feline care. Her beloved Shih Tzu, Jasmine, graced her life for many years and bestowed upon her an enduring affinity for the breed. Spending each day surrounded by animals and those that love them is her idea of the ideal career. Her favorite part of medicine is the detective work necessary to piece together symptoms and test results to reach a diagnosis. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and she enjoys attending local and national continuing education events each year. Her clinical interests include preventative care, feline medicine, internal medicine, geriatric support, dermatology, and dentistry.

Outside of the office, Dr. Sarah enjoys outdoor activities, be it running or hiking, reading on the beach, being involved in her church, and spending time with family. She shares her home in Nashville with her husband and three extremely spoiled felines.
